The Chingadera was born from my desire for a low entry rocker (akin to fish) shortboard with a 14″ish wide nose and 15″ish tail, yet with a more contemporary shortboard tail rocker. Once I gave it a go, I fell in love with it’s ride qualities and declared it an official model. It’s really fast, loose and playful. Very easy to ride and adapt to, no matter what board you’re transitioning from. The low fish like rocker entry allows you to get into waves much easier than a standard shorty and the couple extra inches of nose width(but not too wide) provide a more stable platform that makes skating and driving for high doses of speed a piece of cake. Since the tail is about 1″ wider than a standard shorty, i decided to roll with a tri-hull spiral vee bottom out the back which takes rail to rail surfing to the next level when done right. A slight concave deck is also included to provide a little extra control and rider to wave sensitivity. Order 2-4″ shorter than a standard shortboard.
